Serving 'good mood Thai food' Camile Thai has settled in well since opening its doors in Winchester two months ago.

Camile is an environmentally conscious chain that first opened in Dublin in 2010, offering tofu and vegan chicken on their menu on top of many meat options, the majority of which are served in compostable packaging.

The company is aiming for under one per cent food wastage according to its website.

Supervisor Claire Fuller said this pledge is fulfilled as they "cook to order [which] really helps with wastage" as well as ensuring that the calorie information on their menus is accurate.

The menu is bright and well laid out, inviting diners to try the wide range of authentic, delicious Thai food that can cater to all tastes.

The branch initially opened with a soft launch on November 14, allowing local business owners to try out the menu, and also allowing the team to settle into the kitchen before it fully opened on November 17.

Following on from the soft launch, Claire said that lots of local workers have come in "to say hello" and to make the most of the lunch deals.

Claire said: "The team's getting on well, working well together."

She also said that great effort is put into both customer service and food quality, which is earning them praise and good reviews online. The food boasts a 4.9/5 on Just Eat, and it has been getting rave Google reviews for excellent service.
