EMERGENCY services were called to a home in Stanmore after a man in his 20s was stabbed in the back.
Police officers, an ambulance, Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance and the fire service were called to Chatham Road in Stanmore on Friday, January 26.
A spokesman for Hampshire Police said: “We were called at 11.45pm on 26 January by the ambulance service, who reported a male in his 20s had been stabbed at an address in Chatham Road.
“He was taken to hospital for treatment to a single stab wound in his back. Enquiries are ongoing."
South Central Ambulance Service has been contacted for more information.
