A SOFA and cushions have been fly-tipped in Alresford, with civic chiefs appealing for witnesses.
Winchester City Council posted a photo of the fly-tip on its Facebook page and urged the public to contact them with any information.
The post said: “Can you help us to identify the perpetrators of this fly-tip? This sofa and cushions were discovered illegally dumped at Drove Lane, Alresford on the afternoon of Wednesday January 17. Do you recognise this sofa or do you have any information connected to the incident?

“Please call our Customer Service team on 0300 300 0013 or email customerservice@winchester.gov.uk quoting reference number CSC19235445.
“We rely on your help to find and prosecute fly-tippers. Reports can also be made online: winchester.gov.uk/waste-recycling/flytipping.”
