TEMPORARY two-way traffic lights in Twyford High Street are causing heavy congestion.
Commuters travelling into Winchester are being delayed by up to 50 minutes this morning (Tuesday, January 23), from Colden Common to Twyford, due to the roadworks by The Phoenix Inn.
Workmen are on site, having dug up the road to install full-fibre Giganet broadband.
Hampshire County Council originally said traffic control would remain in place until Monday, Feburary 5 but the roadworks have already been cleared.
