The Worthies Craft and Makers Market will also be back at the club, in Loader Close, on March 24, April 21 and May 19 from 10.30am to 2.30pm.

ITCHEN Abbas Primary School has been awarded ‘Good’ in its latest Ofsted report. Inspectors commended for its inclusivity, good behaviour, high expectations of pupils and high quality support from staff.

QUIZ nights are re-starting this year at The Plough Inn, in Sparsholt. The pub, which is part of The Little Pub Group, has announced its event dates for this year.

Quizzes will be held on January 31, February 28, March 27, April 24, May 29, June 26, July 31, August 28, September 25, October 30 and November 27. Dinner, Jazz and Blue Nights by Cinamon Jazz will also be running on January 20, February 17, March 16, April 20, May 18 and June 15.

BARNIE’S Kitchen has opened at St Barnabas Church in Weeke offering free, hot, community meals every Thursday from 4.45-6.30pm. Visitors are asked to book by contacting barnieskitchen@stb.church and sharing their names and if they have any allergies. Food for all the family and tea, coffee and water will be available.

Monthly women’s breakfasts have also re-started at St Barnabas Church, in Fromond Road. Donations of £1 to £2 are encouraged if possible. LITTLETON and Harestock Parish Council has responded to the redevelopment plans for Sir John Moore Barracks. Although supportive of redevelopment, the parish council has advised that the community should be involved with the future planning, biodiversity is retained, traffic is managed and the heritage is respected.
