The collective of knitted teddy bears, which gave seasonal colour to the Oliver's Battery postbox, are ready for pastures new.
Members of Oliver's Battery WI and the local community joined forces to knit the Teddies for Tragedies which are now destined to go to children in war zones.
The organisation responsible for initiating the concept relies on the goodwill of groups and individuals to produce a variety of items, which are then sent to those places where they are needed.
