A HAMPSHIRE country road has reopened after 40 fallen trees were removed.
Belmore Lane, near Upham, was closed between Beeches Hill and Long Moor Lane, reopening today (Monday, January 8).

This came after Storm Henk swept across the region, with trees falling on Romsey Road, the A34, the M3 and many more.
Last Friday and across the weekend, we responded to 80 emergencies, including:

Since Friday, January 5, Hampshire County Council's highways department responded to 80 emergencies.
Emergency issues on Hampshire’s roads can be reported to the county council by phoning 0300 555 1388.
