Gritters will be hitting the roads as temperatures in Hampshire are set to plummet.
Just days after the county was hit with extreme downpours which led to widespread flooding, a cold snap is coming in.
According to the Met Office, temperatures will hover around 2 degrees Celsius overnight, with Sunday expecting highs of 5 degrees in the day and only 1 degree once the sun sets.
Our gritters will be out today on our priority one salting routes at the following times:

But Hampshire County Council's Highways team said that road surface temperatures are expected to drop below freezing, meaning icy patches are likely.
To limit the impact this has on drivers, the council's gritters will be out on major roads in the north and centre of the county from 3pm today, and in the south from 6pm.
This includes the M27 and the M3.
Looking ahead with the weather forecast, the Met Office predicts Monday is a similar story to the weekend, with highs of 4 degrees in the day and 1 degree at night forecast.
Overnight temperatures are only expected to warm up slightly by Thursday, when they reach 4 degrees.
