A ROMSEY man has been hit with an interim ban until he is sentenced for drug driving in February.
Denzil Cannavo, 28, of Selsdon Avenue, Harefield, was caught over the legal limit by the police in Gladstone Street, Winchester, on August 21, a court heard.
Tested for cannabis his reading of 2.3ug/l was above the legal limit of 2ug/l, a court heard.
When the police checked they found Cannavo was banned from driving and also had no insurance.
Cannavo admitted all three charges.
Magistrates in Basingstoke adjourned the case for the preparation of a pre-sentence report before the next hearing on February 1.
