As Christmas draws near, there are discussions in certain circles about the hypothetical scenario of Jesus arriving in England in 2023 by a small boat and whether the government would turn him away.

It is worth noting that our Conservative MP, along with her colleague Suella Braverman, chose to abstain from the Rwanda vote on Tuesday.

The scheme has already cost us taxpayers millions of pounds. However, it is unlikely to deter refugees.

During this festive season, what I truly wish for is hope.

Hope that the past 13.5 years of political chaos, turmoil, division, and politicians prioritising party over country will come to an end with a General Election.
