November 2025 will mark the 75th anniversary of the final demobilisation of the Women's Land Army in 1950.

In advance of that I'm writing the history of the substantial involvement that Hampshire's "Land Girls" made in the successful efforts to maintain food production when large numbers of Hampshire's male farm employees were serving in the armed forces.

I am particularly keen to make contact with descendants of family members who were members of the Land Army in Hampshire between 1915 and its disbandment in November 1919.

I would be grateful for recollections and photographs for inclusion in the book that is planned to be published towards the end of next year.
