OWSLEBURY Primary School's Christmas Fair will be held this weekend. 
The annual event will be on Saturday, December 9 from 3pm-5pm. 
Entry costs £2. 
There will be games, crafts, food, drinks, shopping, Father Christmas, a raffle, and performances. 

A PROPERTY in Colden Common had a planning application permitted for a new conservatory. 
Emily Hamilton-Brown will be able to add the conservatory to 2 Alfred Mews 39 Spring Lane. 

PLANS have been submitted to remove a barn and build two new tourist units near Colden Common.

COLDEN Common Music and Drama Group is performing a Christmas concert.
It will be an event full of seasonal songs and Christmas carols, served with mulled wine and minced pies. 
There will be two performances, on December 14 and 15 at Holy Trinity Church, in Main Road, at 7.30pm.

FRENCH lessons are being held at Twyford Community Centre. 
French conversation at any level on the last Thursday of the month, from 1.30pm - 3.15pm.

THE Compton and Shawford village panto will be held in January next year. 
They will be performing The Sword in the Stone at Shawford Village Hall from January 11-13.

COLDEN Common Community Transport is looking for more volunteer drivers. 
They operate shopping trips to local supermarkets on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

A CHURCH is looking for volunteers to form working parties to help clear leaves. 
Holy Trinity Church, in Colden Common, is holding the events on December 9 and 16, from 9am - 12pm. 
Bring your own rake. 

A CAROL service is coming to St Mary's Church, in Twyford. 
It will be held on Sunday, December 17 at 5pm. 
The candle-lit service will have carols, readings and refreshments. 
Children are welcome to come dressed as angels. 
There will be a retiring collection for the church. 

A TWYFORD pub is holding a Christmas quiz. 
The Phoenix Inn will be hosting it on Thursday, December 21, starting at 8.30pm. 
Teams of up to six people, at £2 per person. 
A bowl of chips will be included. 

COLDEN Common WI is hosting a wreath making workshop today Thursday, December 7 at the Church Rooms, in Main Road, at 7.30pm. 
Tickets cost £15 and include a demonstration on how to make a wreath. 
People need to bring garden gloves, secateurs, scissors and any small wreath decorations.
