COLDEN Common Music and Drama Group is performing a Christmas concert.
It will be an event full of seasonal songs and Christmas carols, served with mulled wine and minced pies.
There will be two performances, on December 14 and 15 at Holy Trinity Church, in Main Road, at 7.30pm.

CHAPTER and Verse will be at Twyford Community Centre, Queen Street Saturday, December 2, at 4pm to perform “Christmas Crackers”.
With fizz, canapes and gentle music from the local jazz trio.

FRENCH lessons are being held at Twyford Community Centre.

COMPTON Primary School is holding its Christmas Fayre this weekend.
The fayre will be held at the school on Saturday, December 2 from 11.30am - 2pm. 
There will be a licenced bar, hot food, tea, cakes, stalls, games, a craft room, tombola, raffle, face painting and more. 
All proceeds will go to the school.

COLDEN Common WI is hosting a wreath making workshop.
The event will be held on Thursday, December 7 at the Church Rooms, in Main Road, at 7.30pm. 
Tickets cost £15 and include a demonstration on how to make a wreath, a ready mossed ring, a ribbon bow, fresh greenery, seasonal refreshments and a raffle.
People need to bring garden gloves, secateurs, scissors and any small wreath decorations.

A MURDER mystery event is coming to Twyford at the start of December.
It will be held at Twyford Village Hall on Saturday, December 2. 
There will be a three course meal, with the acting between the courses.
The event is raising money for Wessex Cancer Trust and Foxies Future.
There will be a bar and a raffle.

THE Compton and Shawford village panto will be held in January next year.
They will be performing The Sword in the Stone at Shawford Village Hall from January 11-13.

They operate shopping trips to local supermarkets on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
