Two applications were refused by Winchester City Council planning officers this week.

In Winchester, an application without a name was refused for the conversion and extension of existing house to provide four flats at 42 Drayton Street.

Mr Cox, in Soberton, had an application refused for the retention of a dwelling at Rudley Mill, Bent Lane.

An application without a name for two air source heat pumps at The Malms Farm, Shawford Road, was withdrawn.

All other applications were permitted. 

In Bighton, Mr Stratton had an application permitted for the demolition of existing dwelling and erection of replacement dwelling with associated access, parking, landscaping and private amenity space. This is at Knapp Bungalow. 

Dean Stoneman can build a single building comprising 995sqm of Class B8 storage floorspace together with associated works on land to the rear of Three Oaks Kennels, Botley Road, in Bishop's Waltham. 

In Boarhunt, Bob Barrett had an application permitted for two new detached dwellings with detached garages and annexe above, along with car parking and use of existing access onto Southwick Road. This is at Grey House, Southwick Road.

Sandy Macdonald-Hall's application was permitted for the construction of a single storey garden room in the rear garden of 3 Manor Cottages, Peach Hill Lane in Crawley.

Stuart and Sally Downie's application for a single storey rear extension at 6 Kitnocks Farm Cottage, Outlands Lane, in Curdridge was permitted. 

In Denmead, Ms Mugford had an application permitted for a roof extension consisting of a raised gable and ridge, front, side and rear dormers; new front porch and associated internal alterations at Forest View, Furzeley Road.

Mr Hassall's application was permitted for a loft extension with hip to gable extension, new roof window, new side-facing window; front ground floor extension; front garden store building; addition of cladding to existing front gable on dwelling. This is at Malvern, Hambledon Road.

In Hursley, Mr Meyrick can erect replacement dwelling, detached annexe/cartshed, lean to store and retain garden room at Woolley Green Farm, Dores Lane.

Ann Warden, in Kings Worthy, had an application permitted for the removal of conservatory and construction of single storey rear extension and installation of a high level side window at ground floor, at 7 Holdaway Close. 

Rachel and Peter Elliman and Ciesla had an application permitted for a single storey rear extension, to replace existing rear conservatory, with internal renovations and new hard landscaping at The Twitten, 4 Lovett Walk.

In Alresford, Tom Laessing had an application permitted for a single story rear extension, replacing the existing 3 x 2 m structure with a full width 4.4m x 5 m structure to incorporate a new kitchen dining family room, toilet / utility room and knocking through an internal wall to the existing sitting room. This is at 10 Bridge Road. 

Mr and Mrs Hynes had an application permitted for replacement dwelling with new ancillary building, tennis court, swimming pool, vehicle access and associated landscaping at Hill House, Colden Lane.

Tom Sawford's application was permitted for changes to 22/02906/HOU. This is at 5 Downlands Road, Oliver's Battery.

In Soberton, Gillian Wallis can have a timber-framed granny annexe for ancillary residential use associated with the dwelling at Dradfield Cottage, Dradfield Lane.

Louisa Nolan, in South Wonston, had an application permitted to demolish a single storey rear conservatory and replace with single storey garden room, at 24 Downlands Way. 

In Winchester, Mr and Mrs Cooper had an application permitted to create a new opening between the current living room and former master bedroom to create a sitting area separated by sliding doors and screen; alterations to existing bathroom. This is at 9 Gar Street. 

Steve and Claire Ryall had an application permitted for the removal of existing stair core and removal of some external walls, single storey extension to the front on the lower floor. Internal modifications on lower and middle floor. Single storey side extension, with sun room addition on middle floor above. Single storey rear extension. New external stairs. Alterations to openings. This is at 16 St Cross Court, Kingsgate Road.

Simon Pettifer's application was permitted for the installation of replacement signs to include one replacement pictorial panel to existing gibbet; two door plaques, two menu cases, four lanterns, eight floodlights and two sets of sign written house name to existing fascia, at The Green Man, 53 Southgate Street.
