FATHER Christmas, choirs and handbells will feature at the Romsey Abbey Christmas Fair this weekend.

The event, on Saturday, November 25, is one of the abbey's biggest fundraisers.

Starting at 10am, it will be opened by the vicar Rev Thomas Wharton and the mayors of Romsey and Test Valley John Ray and Philip Lashbrook, ably supported by the town crier.

Last year, the fair raised an impressive £6,500.
