A FINE art company set up by a husband and wife team is preparing to host a two-week pop-up on modern British art in Alresford

Blondes Fine Art was established 10 years ago by Melanie and Mark Ponting. It specialises in modern British and contemporary art.

Mark was previously head of the art and antiques squad at New Scotland Yard while Melanie worked at the Henry Moore Studio and Gardens.

They believe in sharing their passion for art and are both welcoming and knowledgeable, always ready to engage in conversations about the artwork.

They are also passionate about sharing the social history and stories behind each piece and the creative process of the artists.

They have a private gallery in Hertfordshire where they host exhibitions while also regularly taking part in various London Art Fairs.

They have a great fondness for, and are frequent visitors to, New Alresford where their family are based.

Mark said: "The gallery's collection is eclectic and has works available to suit all pockets, showcasing a diverse range of art forms.

"From traditional oil paintings to contemporary ceramics, you will find the variety of works on display impressive."

Blondes Fine Art Gallery features both established modern British and emerging artists.

It will also be hosting an evening art talk during the two-week pop-up in Alresford where you can find out about some of the key works on offer.

Mark said: "The gallery strongly believes in inclusivity and accessibility offering a range of pricing options, making it possible for art enthusiasts at various budget levels to acquire unique pieces.

"So whether you are a seasoned collector or a first-time buyer, Blondes Fine Art Gallery makes the world of art accessible and fun for all.

"We look forward to meeting you during the period of the pop-up located at 28 West Street, New Alresford between November 28 and December 9."
