While I would normally hesitate to contradict a tour guide with SeeSouthampton.co.uk, I am obliged to contradict his assertion that the range of buildings on the south side of the quadrangle .."was demolished in 1789, is now an ambulatory".

The Ambulatory, with former Brothers Hospital above, is on the east side.

The south side of the quadrangle is now open to the Park, and that the buildings were demolished, allows my flat the benefit if an east window, towards the chapel, to complement its view, to the south, of the park and, to the west, of the Brothers' Garden.
