I am a prospective independent parliamentary candidate for Winchester.

I am appalled that ordinary people are put off from standing as parliamentary candidates due to the substantial deposit required to stand.

With most people dis-heartened with the electoral system and with the three main inward looking parties, isn’t time for a good shake up and introduce proportional representation in our electoral system and remove these undemocratic deposits to stand as candidates?

If anyone wishes to help me get elected as MP for Winchester next year please contact me on: kevin.dcruze@yahoo.co.uk.
