THE hospital trust that runs Basingstoke and Andover hospitals has introduced a new self-check -in system.
As of Tuesday, November 7, patients visiting one of Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust’s three sites will be asked to self-check-in at a kiosk on arrival instead of reporting to reception.
The kiosks have been installed at each of the trust's three sites – Basingstoke, Andover and Winchester – for outpatient appointments.

Patients attending an outpatient appointment will be expected to scan a barcode on their appointment letter at one of the kiosks to check-in.
Check-in can be done up to 10 minutes either side of a scheduled appointment time.
Those who prefer to check in at reception can still do so.
