THE Colden Common Winter Market and Craft Fayre is fast approaching. 
The event, at Colden Common Community Centre, will be on Sunday, November 26 from 2pm - 5pm.
It will have lots of festive stalls and seasonal offerings to browse. 
Father Christmas will be paying a visit during the afternoon, with tickets available for his grotto. 
They will also be selling raffle tickets and refreshments will be available. Entry and parking will be free. 

A CHRISTMAS fair is coming to Otterbourne at the end of November. 
The St Matthew's Christmas Fair will be held on Saturday, November 25 at Otterbourne Village Hall, from 12pm-3pm. 
Entry costs £1, with children free. 
The fair will have local crafts, gifts, children's stalls, refreshments, Santa's grotto and a hamper raffle. 

A QUIZ night is coming to Owslebury. 
The event will be held at Owslebury School on November 25, starting at 7pm. 
It's being organised by the Friends of Owslebury School. 
Tickets cost £5 per person or £40 for a table of eight.

They operate shopping trips to local supermarkets on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

TWYFORD Playgroup’s Christmas Wreath Workshops are fast approaching. 
The events will be held on Sunday December 3, starting at 2pm and 7pm. 

POPPIES will be on sale in various locations around Colden Common until November 11. 
There will also be a band of willing volunteers selling poppies door to door in many locations throughout the village during this same period as well as outside the post office and Spar.

The Christmas in the Park event will be at the Ballard Close Playing Field on December 2, from 2.30pm-5.30pm.

A MURDER mystery event is coming to Twyford at the start of December. 
It will be held at Twyford Village Hall on Saturday, December 2. 
There will be a three course meal, with the acting between the courses. 
The event is raising money for Wessex Cancer Trust and Foxies Future. 
There will be a bar and a raffle.

A TENNIS club is hosting a general knowledge quiz. 
Colden Common Tennis Club's quiz will be at The Brambridge Arms on Wednesday, November 15 starting at 7pm. 
Tickets cost £9.50 per person, which includes a fish and chips supper. Teams are six people, but people can also join teams on the night.

TWYFORD Ladies Club is holding an open meeting. 
The meeting will be held at Twyford Parish Hall on Monday, November 13 at 2pm. 
It's open to all, with men welcome at £4 per guest. 
Helen Scaiff will be talking about the project to save Foxlease, an activity centre in the heart of the New Forest. 

THE Compton and Shawford village panto will be held in January next year. 
They will be performing The Sword in the Stone at Shawford Village Hall from January 11-13.
