A purpose-built £3 million fertility clinic has opened its doors in Chandler's Ford.

Complete Fertility, which was established 15 years ago and treats thousands of NHS and private patients from Southampton, Portsmouth and Dorset every year, has relocated from Princess Anne Hospital to the new site in Templars Way.

Owned by Vertis Health, a global leader in fertility, the new clinic has been designed specifically with the patient journey in mind, offering easy car parking, state-of-the-art IVF theatres, an advanced embryology laboratory, and cryostorage facilities.

More than 100 people, including patients, their babies and children, and the clinical and support team from Complete Fertility, celebrated the opening of the new clinic with a tea party.

The children were entertained by face painters, balloon modelling experts and Mary Poppins and Burt, who sang their famous songs and ensured the party went along spit spot!

Patient Sue Lowe said: "It was great to meet Prof Cheong (the medical director) and the Complete Fertility team again. My son and daughter had a great afternoon, and it was lovely to see so many other families.

"Nothing is easy when it comes to fertility treatment, and I’ve received great support from this team. I was pleased I could join the celebrations and see everyone again as well as the new clinic."
