A CITY centre coffee shop has closed its doors, with no explanation behind the closure given.

It has been reported on social media that the Pret A Manger in Winchester High Street has been closed for at least two days.

The doors to the shop are locked, with a notice in the window.

The notice says: "This Pret shop is currently closed.

There is no indication of whether or not the shop has closed permanently.

Pret A Manger has been contacted for comment.
