Winchester may be hit by heavy rain and flooding, the Met Office has warned.

Forecasters have issued a yellow weather warning for rain in Winchester, and across most of Hampshire.

The warning for rain is in place from 12am today (Saturday, October 28), to 11.59pm on Sunday, October 29.

According to the Met Office, there is a "small chance that homes and businesses could be flooded, causing damage to some buildings.

"Spray and flooding is likely to lead to difficult driving conditions and there is a small chance of some road closures.

"Where flooding occurs, there is a slight chance of delays to or cancellations of public transport services."
