PLAYMAKERS, the youth theatre branch of Play to The Crowd, is hosting a work-in-theatre insight day at the Theatre Royal.

Held on Wednesday, October 25, the performing arts career insight day will consist of short workshops exploring different careers in the theatre industry – from programming and marketing shows to hosting outdoor events and fundraising.

The event, which will run from 9.30am to 2pm, is aimed at young people aged from 12 to 25 years old and will include a question and answer session where a panel will talk about their own different paths into the industry and answer questions.

The workshops will explore everything from the challenges facing artistic directors who run theatres to the skills required to fundraise for a creative project, how to market a show and sell tickets to different audiences and more.

This will be a Pick Your Price event, meaning that participants can choose a ticket price which works best for them. Ticket options start from £3.
