A MAN suffered serious injuries after he was hit by a car near Winchester.
The incident occurred at around 10.20pm on Thursday, October 12. It took place on the eastbound carriageway of the A31 towards Alresford, and involved a Hyundai I10 and a pedestrian.
The pedestrian, a 34-year-old man from Alresford, sustained a fractured pelvis and two broken legs.

Officers from Hampshire Constabulary are currently seeking information about the collision.
A police spokesperson said: “Officers would like to speak to anyone who was driving in the area at the time who may have witnessed the collision or has dashcam footage.
“Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 or online quoting 44230418848.”
