A PRIMARY school on the outskirts of Romsey is holding a series of events for elderly people.
Halterworth Primary School's first Food and Friends event is on Thursday, October 19.
This is an opportunity for people to come and eat lunch at the school, play games with pupils and meet others.

The school is encouraging people to bring activities to share with pupils such as knitting, crosswords and board games.
There will be a free hot meal, followed by a dessert.
The next events are scheduled for December 12, March 21 and June 27.
