A POLITICAL party has launched its campaign in Hampshire, announcing nine election candidates.
Shawford Parish Hall hosted almost 100 members and supporters of Reform UK on Saturday, September 23.
Richard Tice, party leader, and Ben Habib, party spokesman, addressed the crowd and introduced the candidates.

Mr Tice said: “We've got the highest ever waiting lists on record, we have a plan to get to zero waiting lists. You've got gangs of feral youths roaming the streets, happily just raging into stores and sweeping huge quantities of goods off shelves. You couldn't make it up.
“The cost of living crisis is driven by the absurdity of net zero and cost of energy. We want zero income tax up to £20,000 a year.”
The Hampshire candidates are: Melvyn Todd (Portsmouth North), Mark Zimmer (Portsmouth South), Trecious Chitsika (Southampton Itchen), John Edwards (Southampton Test), Clare Fawcett (Eastleigh), Kevan Chippindall-Higgin (Fareham and Waterlooville), John Perry (Havant), Sarah Morris (Isle of Wight East) and Trevor Lloyd-Jones (Aldershot).
