A Hampshire man has been jailed for 16 months for burglary in Alresford.
David Brown, 40, of London Road, Liss, was also ordered to pay £4,000 in compensation and given a five-year restraining order as well as prison time.
Winchester Crown Court heard he had texted a woman who was living in Alresford to say he was coming to her house before breaking in on Monday, April 10.
A spokesperson for Hampshire Police said: "The woman was not home and it was reported to us on April 10. A TV remote and pillows were stolen."
