The mayor of Romsey, Cllr John Ray, was dressed for the occasion, teaming a flowery pair of trousers, a waistcoat and a bandana with the mayoral chain. Cllr Ray is also the chairman of Romsey Carnival.
The event marked the end of a busy few days for the Romsey Carnival, with the bed race and fun run held the day before.
