A WINCHESTER pensioner has been hit with a four-figure fine for speeding in London.

Michael Caswell-Daniels, 79, of Chesil Street, was snapped by an automatic camera driving a 55-reg Mercedes C Class in Putney on January 7, a court heard. His speed was 52mph in a 30-zone.

Magistrates in Willesden found him guilty under the single justice procedure.
