A man has been charged following an investigation into the death of Margaret McLean, 92, in Waltham Chase.
David McLean, 71, of Morley Drive, Bishop's Waltham, has been charged with attempted murder and is due to appear at Portsmouth Crown Court on Wednesday July 26.

Police had been called shortly after midnight on Friday October 7 2022, to a report of a woman’s death at an address in Chase Grove, Waltham Chase.
Until May McLean was Conservative city councillor representing Bishop's Waltham. He was a former mayor, serving in 2017-18, and long-serving member of the planning committee.
