The UK’s biggest touring celebrity food and music festival series returns to Winchester with a star-studded line up from July 14-16.

Known as Gastro-Glastonbury, Foodies Festival will take place at North Walls Recreation Ground. 

The three-day event features live cooking demonstrations from top chefs drawn from the ranks of TV’s MasterChef, Great British Bake Off and Great British Menu, plus top-rated Michelin-starred and award-winning chefs. 

Plus, chart-topping music headliners including Sophie Ellis-Bextor and Scouting For Girls.

MasterChef 2023 champion Chariya Khattiyot, and finalist Anurag Aggarwal will be reunited to cook in front of a live audience in Winchester and speak about their experience on the show.

Other star names appearing in the live cooking theatres include: Great British Bake Off 2022 winner Syabira Yusoff; MasterChef champions Thomas Frake, Shelina Permaloo and Dhruv Baker; Great British Bake Off finalist Dave Friday; Channel 4 Sunday Brunch regular and chef-director of The Pig group of restaurants,James Golding; BBC bread expert Jack Sturgess; and TV regular, author and chef, Ravinder Bhogal.

Chariya Khattiyot said: "Taking part in MasterChef and becoming the champion has been the most incredible and exhilarating experience. I’m so delighted to be joining the Foodies Festival tour in Winchester alongside Anurag. I’ll be cooking some of my favourite recipes in the Chefs’ Theatre and I want to show the world that Northern Thai food is amazing, because it really is. I just love to see people’s faces light up when they eat my food.”
