Every second and fourth Thursday of each month, the Age Concern Hall in Linden Road, Romsey puts on a two-course lunch of a main course and a sweet followed by a choice of tea or coffee. All this for a cover price of £6.

These lunches are prepared, cooked and served by a small team of volunteers. However, at least one more volunteer needs to be recruited for food preparation and service. If no-one is forthcoming, sadly the second Thursday lunch will cease by August of this year.

The task is not onerous; it is for one day a month for about five and a half hours. Could that volunteer be you? If so, please contact Age Concern on 01794 518817 or e-mail office@ageconcernromsey.org.uk
