A MAN was killed in a crash between two cars on the A31 near Alton.
The police are appealing for witnesses following the collision at around 12.25pm yesterday (Wednesday, June 7) on the A31 southbound near the Hen and Chicken pub at Upper Froyle.
The crash involved a red Suzuki Alto and a green Frazer Nash car. The driver of the Frazer Nash, a 79-year-old man from Tongham, suffered serious injuries and died at the scene.
His family have been made aware and are being supported by specialist officers.
The police are now calling for anyone with information about the collision who has not already spoken to the police to come forward particularly anyone with dash cam footage.
