Romsey and Southampton North Conservatives last week welcomed former Lord Chancellor and Secretary of State for Wales Sir Robert Buckland to Stockbridge for a question and answer session with local residents.
Mr Buckland spoke about the work he had done in the Ministry of Justice on the strategy to tackle violence against women and girls, the rape review and work on sentencing of repeat and violent offenders.

In answering questions he highlighted the commitment the Government had made in the recent budget to help working families with the cost of childcare.
Romsey MP Caroline Nokes said: “Sir Robert is a real expert on the justice system and it is great to hear at first hand how reforms have been designed to put victims at the heart of the justice system.”
