A QUIZ night is being held in Twyford.
Twyford St Mary's PTA is hosting the quiz at Twyford Parish Hall, with doors open on March 3 at 7.15pm with the quiz starting at 7.45pm.
A message on the group's Facebook page said: “All you need is a little general knowledge, some inspired guesswork and an occasional dash of luck!
“Tickets are now on sale and must be pre-booked to secure your table.
“A two course meal is included but feel free to bring snacks and of course, your own booze!
“It promises to be a very fun evening with prizes for the winning (and losing) teams.”

A CARE home is hosting Singing for the Brain events.
The Community Hub at Brendoncare, Otterbourne Hill, have events until the end of March. 
It's aimed at people with dementia so they can sing songs they know in a friendly environment. They also do vocal exercises that help improve the brain activity and wellbeing. 
The events are free, however they do require booking in advance.
They will be held on March 16 and 30, from 10am-11.30am

WINCHESTER Musicals and Operatic Society (WMOS) is performing songs from musicals in Colden Common on March 4.
The Sound of Musicals Part Two will be held at Colden Common Community Centre.
Expect whole choir, solos and four-part harmonies from Les Misérables, Rent and many other contemporary and traditional musicals.

AN Easter Egg hunt is taking place in Colden Common on March 26.
Join the friends and families of Colden Common Pre-School and hunt for 10 missing Easter Eggs around the village.
It costs £5 per child. There will be chocolate treats, craft competitions, a raffle and refreshments.

COLDEN Common Community Centre is hosting an Easter Market and Craft Fayre.
It will be held on March 18, starting at 2pm.
The fayre will feature stalls from small businesses and local handmade crafts.

AN event to discover more about what is happening in Colden Common is taking place this weekend.
Get Involved is being held at the community centre on March 4, from 12pm-4pm.
It's an opportunity to meet people from many different clubs, associations and societies that operate in the village and discover what they offer the local community. 
The event is free admission, with refreshments available. 

A SERIES of talks are held at Colden Common Community Centre on the second Wednesday of the month.
They are called ‘Colden Common Talks With’ and range from talks about hobbies, local history or new skills. 
The centre is urging people to get in touch to register an interest in giving a talk or presentation.

AN event called ‘A brew and a book’ will be returning to Colden Common.
They are usually held on the last Thursday of each month at Colden Common Community Centre, from 2pm-4pm.
It will be next held on March 30. They are open to everyone. People can enjoy some company, have a hot drink and have a browse at the second hand books.

VOLUNTEERS are need to help provide lunches for the older residents of Colden Common.
The lunch club runs at the community centre every Wednesday. The commitment is only one Wednesday in every four.
