A WINCHESTER pensioner has been fined for speeding near the city.
Aldershot Magistrates Court was told that Michael Sommer, 81, was in a VW when caught by a police speed trap on the B3047 at Kings Worthy on November 17 2021.
A police officer recorded him as driving at 35mph in a 30-zone.
Sommer, of Mountbatten Court, Andover Road, admitted the charge, at the court on Monday February 20.
Magistrates fined him £66 with a £34 victim surcharge and three penalty points added on to his licence. The fine must be paid by March 19.
