DRIVERS in Test Valley will have 14 road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.

And four of them are expected to cause delays of between 10 and 30 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that six closures already in place are expected to carry on this week:

• A303, from 8pm January 18 to 6am February 23, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A303 eastbound, Parkhouse, slip road and lane closures for resurfacing work, diversion via National Highways network.

• M3, from 9pm December 9 2020 to 6am March 23 2023, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M3 both directions, junction 10, slip road closures for M3 Concrete barrier Scheme, diversion via local authority and National Highways network.

• M27, from 9pm January 25 2021 to 6am April 6 2023, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M3 southbound to M27 westbound, link road closure for M3 Concrete barrier Scheme, diversion route via National Highways network.

• M27, from 8pm October 12 2020 to 6am April 18 2023, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M27 both directions, junction 4 and M3 both directions, junction 14, Llnk road and lane closures for M3 Concrete barrier Scheme, diversion via National Highways network.

• M27, from 8pm October 28 2020 to 6am April 21 2023, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M27, junction 4 and M3, junction 14 all directions, link road and lane closures for M3 Concrete barrier Scheme, diversion via National Highways network.

• A34, from midnight, February 1 to 11.59pm December 31, slight delays (under 10 minutes): abnormal Load - Swansea to Southampton.

And a further eight closures will begin over the next seven days:

• A34, from 8pm February 20 to 6am February 21, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A34 southbound, Sutton Scotney Services exit slip road closure.

• M27, from 8pm February 20 to 6am February 25, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M27 westbound, junction 3, slip road and lane closures for resurfacing, diversion via National Highways network.

• A303, from 8pm February 22 to 6am March 2, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A34 northbound, Bullington, slip road and lane closures for signage repairs, diversion via National Highways network.

• A303, from 8pm February 23 to 6am February 24, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A303 westbound, Longparish to Old Micheldever Road, Lane closure for sign works.

• A303, from 8pm February 23 to 6am February 24, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A303 eastbound and westbound and A34 northbound and southbound, Popham to Bullington to M3, junction 9, diversion only for Hampshire County Council works.

• A303, from 8pm February 24 to 6am February 25, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A303 westbound, Hundred Acre to Thruxton Villlage, Lane closures for drainage work.

• M27, from 8pm March 3 to 6am March 6, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M27 eastbound, junction 3, slip road and lane closures for resurfacing, diversion via National Highways network.

• A303, from 8pm March 6 to 6am March 7, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A303 eastbound, Countess to Parkhouse - lane closure for sign erection.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
