I was very struck by the contrast between the headline in my daily paper (The i, since you ask!) and the Letter from Westminster in the Hants Con of 11th February, penned by Flick Drummond MP.

In her letter, Flick states that "The government... continues to be the greenest administration ever".

In contrast, the headline in my daily paper was "Environment Agency forecasts only 6% of English rivers will be in good ecological condition by 2027" and that investment in the network was over-shadowed by the £50 billion paid out to shareholders since privatisation in 1989.

I wonder which of these statements is true?
