PUPILS from a Valley Park primary school have planted trees and wild flowers, with the help of the mayor.
A total of 60 pupils from St Francis Primary School helped to plant community orchards in three locations in Valley Park.
They were assisted by the mayor of Test Valley and chairman of Valley Park Parish Council, Cllr Alan Dowden.

Cllr Dowden said: “Boyce Jeffrey and his team of TVBC woodland officers did a fantastic job and the children enjoyed helping with the work they did.
“I would like to thank the borough council for providing the community infrastructure levy money for the parish to provide these orchards and wild flower seeds. A great success and the summer will bring further environment improvements for local residents to enjoy.”
