A GRITTER lorry crashed near Wickham due to icy conditions on the road.
The gritter crashed on Trampers Lane near Wickham on Tuesday, January 17.
The crash is believed to have occurred around 11am, and it is not currently known how the incident occurred.
Hampshire County Council has been reached for comment.
Gritting teams have been dispatched around the county in response to the cold snap which has left the UK facing below-freezing temperatures, with more freezing conditions predicted to be on the way.

In a tweet posted on Wednesday, January 18, Hampshire Highways said: “Salting update.
“It’s a busy time for our gritting teams who will be out again at 12noon today across Hampshire as RST’s (Road Surface Temperatures) are predicted to fall well below zero from 5pm.”
