A BERKSHIRE couple who got engaged inside Winchester Cathedral are on the search for the mystery photographers who captured their magical moment.

Charlie Hill, 37, surprised his partner of 10 years Storme Pettersson, 36, by getting down on one knee inside the iconic cathedral.

Storme, who said “she couldn’t have asked for a more romantic proposal”, is now looking for the two girls who pictured the milestone.

The eyelash technician said: “I really want to find them to thank them. I’m still on cloud nine and they captured the best day of my life- apart from the days my children were born.

“The two girls were young mid 20’s that’s all I can remember as I was still in shock. I could never describe how amazing it all was and they caught every second of it.”

Hampshire Chronicle:

When the couple, who live in Holyport in Maidenhead with their two children, got together they had agreed that they wouldn’t get married. But after having children (no aged five and eight), Storme’s mindset changed.

Nevertheless, her partner Charlie joked that she chose a watch over a ring on one birthday and she’d made her choice.

Storme added: “I always said I chose a watch as I didn’t want to choose my own ring. I din’t ever think he would get down on one knee, let alone propose in a stunning cathedral.”

Hampshire Chronicle:

Electrical contractor Charlie had planned the whole surprise, taking his soon-to-be fiancée on a spa day at Winchester Spa before proposing under the star in the Cathedral at exactly 4.20pm on Friday, December 9.

Since the engagement, Storme has tried to find the two women who took the photos by posting in Facebook groups, on Instagram and on TikTok and urged the pair to come forward and message her via social media so she can thank them.
