Owner Giuseppe, who runs the salon in Staple Gardens, said: "We take an Italian approach to everything – for instance the highest quality cutting, styling and colour, and, of course, we’re even choosy about the coffee we serve.

"I’m very proud of the salon, my team, and all that we’ve already achieved in this short space of time.”

This latest award adds to the track record of reaching the finals of the Salon Business Awards, the Winchester Business Excellence Awards, The Muddy Stilettoes Awards, and the Hair Magazine Awards 2022.

The salon caters to men and women and offers specific treatment for clients with scalp issues.

Giuseppe, 35, said: "My clients mean the world to me. My aim is to make everyone leave feeling special and looked after. I want everyone to feel relaxed and receive five-star treatment.

"I started cutting hair in Napoli at the age of 13 and dreamt of having my own salon in England. I worked in a salon in Winchester and made my dream of owning my own salon come true. It feels amazing."

Giuseppe made sure to bring a bit of Italy to Winchester, where he serves only Italian coffee and plays Italian music in his salon.

After celebrating his new award, Giuseppe said he now feels ready to take on new challenges, with more competitions and awards to potentially place in his salon.
