Mark Steel's in Town was in Salisbury but the show heard a few sly digs about its rival Winchester.
The comedian took his stand-up act to Salisbury, with the city the source of most of the gags, as heard on BBC Radio 4.
The programme's running gag was that Stonehenge is not actually in Salisbury but outside Amersbury eight miles up the road.

But the show also mentioned Winchester a number of times with Salisbury definitely being "better", even to the point that its cathedral nave is longer than Winchester's. In fact Winchester is second only to St Peter's in Rome.
The rivalry between the respective county towns stretches back into the mists of time. In recent years Salisbury has had its nose put out of joint by the success of Winchester's Christmas market and ice rink.
