A REWARD of £5,000 is being offered in the hunt to find the killer of a 77-year-old Brambridge woman.
Georgina Edmonds was bludgeoned to death at her home in Kiln Lane on Friday, January 11.
More than 200 police officers have been working to identify her killer, but so far without success.
Mrs Edmonds' son, Harry, is now offering a £3,000 reward in the hope that new information might come to light.
Hampshire Constabulary has also put forward £2,000, making a total pot of £5,000.
Mr Edmonds said: "I am offering this reward to anyone who can provide the police with information that leads to the conviction of the person or people responsible for my mother's death."
Detective chief inspector Paul Barton added: "We believe that the person responsible for Mrs Edmonds' death may have confessed to a friend or relative and we hope that this reward will encourage them to come forward and do the right thing by giving their information to us."
Anyone with information is urged to call the Operation Columbian team on 0845 045 4545 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
Alternatively, information can be e-mailed to operation.columbian@hampshire.pnn.police.uk or sent to Freepost, Operation Columbian.
