ALRESFORD'S long-running saga over bar facilities at Arlebury Park is set to be resolved tomorrow night (March 19).
The town council has called an extraordinary meeting to vote on a deal that, if approved, will see it take control of Arlebury Park Sports and Social Club (APSCC).
Directors of the club announced last year that it was around £50,000 in debt, leading to the town council evicting it from Arlebury Park's first-floor bar in September.
The club was returned to the premises in October 2007 and has been running the bar on a temporary basis ever since. Town councillors voted in February to take control of running the bar facility from April 1.
