A CAR travelling along the M27 between Ower and Nursling was badly damaged when fire broke out on Saturday evening.
Police say the driver of the white Peugeot involved pulled over onto the hard shoulder. Fire crews from Romsey and Redbridge fought the blaze. Initial reports suggested people were trapped inside the car but when emergency services arrived they were all out of the vehicle.
