The draw for the second qualifying round of the FA Cup has pitted Winchester City at home to Weymouth.

With Southampton playing on Friday night (and away, to boot) many of the local residents will have a free Saturday on September 17. This is the perfect opportunity to pack the Charters Community Stadium and cheer your local team on.

City have proved more than capable against opposition from the National League South in recent years, pushing Bath City and Concord Rangers all the way in 2020 and 2014 respectively, taking Maidenhead to a replay in 2015 and inflicting a heavy defeat on Truro City in 2016. There is also the prospect of avenging the defeat to Weymouth in the FA Trophy in 2016. Over 1,000 people came to the play off final back in May, even half of that would be a good crowd.

So on Saturday September 17, come along and support your local team.
