Police officers would like to speak to a man in connection with a theft from a car in Southwick.

Sometime between 9pm on Tuesday, August 9 and 7am on Wednesday, August 10, a black Volvo was broken into on Norton Road.  

A purse containing bank cards was stolen.

Police are keen to identify the man as they believe he may be able to assist with the investigation.

A Hampshire Constabulary spokesman said: "We would like to take this opportunity to remind motorists to make sure you remove valuables from your vehicle and lock it.

"Make sure to physically check that doors and window are locked, especially if you have used the remote to lock the vehicle, then look inside again to make sure you’ve not left anything."
