This festive season families are invited to step inside a Christmas experience at Winchester Science Centre.
On weekends and during the Christmas school holiday between Saturday December 3 and December 24, visitors can join Santa in Cosmic Christmas, a brand-new 45-minute immersive family adventure in planetarium.
Listen as Santa and Aster, the intergalactic planetary elf, recreate the tale of their first mission to the International Space Station.
Cosmic Christmas is a 45-minute live-action immersive performance. Families will be encouraged to become part of the story through cheering, moving in their seats and making noise.

Tickets to Cosmic Christmas also include entry to the Science Centre’s two floors of interactive exhibits and festive Space Station Science activities.
Families are also invited to find out if they’ve got what it takes to live and work in space. The Winchester Science Centre space commanders are on the lookout for new recruits to join them at the Space Station Science Training Academy.
Tickets for Cosmic Christmas (which includes entry to the Science Centre, the immersive Christmas Planetarium experience and all the Space Station Science activities) are £29 for children from three to 16 years old, £14 for two years and under and £25 for adults. Carers are free and there are discounts for Curiosity Club members.
